Disney Cruise Line welcomed the Disney Magic to its new Summer home port today, my hometown of NYC! From now through late September 2012, the Disney Magic will be sailing 3 brand new Disney Cruise Line itineraries straight from the Hudson River! The NYC port is a great option for cruisers living in the Northeast or Eastern Canada. Not only can we help you plan your amazing Disney Cruise but, we can also help you plan a few days pre/post cruise in the NYC or surrounding areas!
Here is a look at the available Disney Magic itineraries this Summer:
- 8-Night Bahamian Cruise: Including stops at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, FL, Nassau and 4 entire days at sea. This itinerary also includes a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket to the Walt Disney World Resort during the Port Canaveral stop! This is currently the only Disney Cruise Line itinerary to include a day at the parks!
- 5-Night Canada/New England Coast Cruise: Including stops at Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John, New Brunswick with 2 days at sea.
- 2-Night Weekend Cruise: Perfect for those looking for a quick magical getaway. Itinerary sails on 6/15, 7/13 and 8/10.
The Disney Magic was the first cruise ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. I know I’m excited to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to explore the Disney Magic while staying close to home. The ship will sail a total of 20 cruises out of NYC this Summer before repositioning to another new home port: Galveston, Texas. Beginning September 22, the Disney Magic will sail 7-Night Western Caribbean itineraries including stops at Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Cayman.
